AB  - The paper aims to identify the serial mechanisms and rituals that make the long time serial a temporality of recurrence and deepening. The ­confrontation with the Israeli series Hatufim and the movie The Manchurian Candidate part of the analysis. How Homeland use the ­conflict between real surface and deep reality of espionage is examined. The article examines how the show open paranoid framework develops the plot.
