AB  - The evaluation of the local economic impact of defense spending faces methodological difficulties, such as the availability of data, the choice of the geographic scale of the analysis, the specification of the model. After a review of these issues, this article proposes an evaluation method based on the calculation of the Keynesian income multiplier.
