Drawing on a wealth of works that have characterized these processes in a wide range of sectors and territories, we show how regulationist concepts shed light on meso-economic patterns. We develop a framework that identifies three main carriers of differentiation within meso-economic arenas and sheds light on a variety of evolutive meso-macro configurations.
