AB  - This interview first emphasizes the affiliation of the author’s translational approach with the phenomenology of perception, and then the construction of meaning through the symbolic forms of the first chapter of The Night Watchman. The author then shows how to orientate the translation in order to highlight the specificities of a source writing made of sensations, feelings and judgements that preside over this deceptively factual text.
