AB  - The 18th century offers a large production of letter writing manuals. In the first half of the century, the publications in the tradition of the 16th and 17th centuries are dominating: these publications don’t bother to give education models for the instruction of the letter writer. In the second half of the century, texts will appear which stress the process of educating the young letter writer, namely such as the works of Francesco Parisi and Luigi Baldelli.
