TY - ECHAP A1 - Milon, Alain A1 - Călin, Anca TI - Parole littéraire, parole de fragment - La littérature fragmentaire autour de l’œuvre de Maurice Blanchot T3 - Literary theory, n° 4 in Rencontres M1 - 153 DO - 10.15122/isbn.978-2-8124-4807-2.p.0071 SN - 978-2-8124-4807-2 SP - 71 EP - 80 AB - The fragment inscribes itself in the thickness of the word, and not in the expression of the word: “Fragment [is] a word, but with the force of a verb which is, however, absent.” Blanchot’s writing is of the same order: “the unformulated in the known word”. This is what we are seeking to illuminate: the fragment results from an impossibility which is not linked to an historical situation (the holocaust), but is rather the ontological expression of writing.
