AB  - There is still a long way to go in translating Caribbean writers, if the purpose is to translate their texts by taking into account the plurilinguism that founds their writing and lead them to relate Caribbean culture to their novels. I will try to analyze the situation, in order to provide methodological principles, which should be able to stimulate translation in the West Indies while considering the cultural and linguistic complexity of the area.
