AB  - Miyazaki’s oeuvre lays out a coherent political background. Questions about his conception of the state can be answered by examining its spectral presence and the theory of the individual that arises from it. It is helpful to look at the incarnation and impact of the state in his work through the prism of constitutional law. In denouncing tyrannical and centralizing power, Miyazaki lets us taste freedom through characters who emancipate themselves to better construct their lives autonomously.
