AB  - L’étude du théâtre irlandais contemporain permet d’identifier la présence des mythes grecs comme une influence majeure ; le processus de réécriture consiste à mettre en scène des conflits et des thèmes qui préoccupent toujours la société et les dramaturges, à démystifier les identités contemporaines, ainsi qu’à créer de nouveaux espaces de transformation. L’analyse comparative de pièces écrites par Marina Carr, Enda Walsh, Shane Mac an Bhaird ou Dylan Coburn Gray permet d’aborder cette question.
