AB  - The shared interest of the two correspondents in Joyce’s Ulysses opens the second period: Valery Larbaud was working on the French translation; Henri Buriot-Darsiles brought in a German translator, Dr. Goyert. In their exchanges, we can see the appearance and disappearance over several years of Le Journal de Quasie and Le Cœur de l’Angleterre, works by Larbaud that were long unknown. The Bourbonnais region and Allen, Larbaud’s emblematic work, also occupied a large place.
