AB  - This issue, which coincides with the centennial of the birth of Amédée Carriat (1922–2004), rediscoverer and exponent of the work of Tristan L’Hermite (1601–1655), is the result of a colloquium held at the Limoges Francophone Multimedia Library in February 2022. It focuses on the lands of the two men of letters, examines the circumstances and stakes surrounding this phenomenon of revival, and proceeds to probe the notion of “literary history,” its ramifications, and its actors—readers, academics, publishers, anthologists, and bibliophiles in particular.
