AB  - With Corbière, let us hypothesize here that the renewal of the poetic tradition is partly due to the promotion of a distinct category both of the sublime and the grotesque, the realism than the fantastic, namely that of the "wilderness". The adjective "sauvage", which appears nine times in Les Amours Jaunes, which radiates throughout Le Casino des Trépassés, therefore provides a major aesthetic harmonic, posing otherwise the dichotomy of the "naive" and the "sentimental" inherited from Schiller.
