AB  - This contribution represents the second stage of a process dedicated to the reception of Lautréamont in Italy at the beginning of the twentieth century. The article analyzes the first two complete translations of the Chants de Maldoror and the figures of the two translators: Fabrizio Onofri, a Communist Party intellectual and member of the Resistance, and Marco Lombardo, alias Mario Camerino, a Jewish translator during the Second World War.
