AB  - Within the Giralducian imagination, the word “bourgeoisie” occupies a paradoxical and ambiguous position. The bourgeoisie or more specifically the petty bourgeoisie is the original site where a certain mediocrity of reality is experienced that characters will try to flee in favor of the “world,” a universe whose brightness seduces them. But this flight is followed by a return to a reality with set limits and finitude, whether with resignation or acceptance.
