AB  - From a translational perspective, based on the choices made by the translator in the light of the intrinsic functioning of Choix des élues, our analysis of the Italian version of this novel aims to illustrate—along with linguistic and stylistic reflections on the recreation of Giraudoux’s writing—the textual difficulties involved in its culturally rooted dimensions, the inevitable recourse to notes, and the creative reinvention of certain passages.
