AB  - The television adaptation of the play Siegfried (1928), directed by Marcel Cravenne in 1963, is a striking and representative example of the many adaptations of Jean Giraudoux’s work for international television. This article shows how the theatrical form filmed for television can allow the text to become accessible and easily understandable to the public while maintaining its original form and respecting the source material.
