AB  - If the Querelle des Discours and the Tragic Genre may seem to entertain a distant relationship, Tragedy is more present than it seems: in addition to certain textual similarities, the polemical texts evoke subjects from tragedies of the time and try to reflect on the notion of “Tragic” itself: although secondary in the debate, tragedy would therefore not be completely foreign to the poetic reconfiguration that took place at the turn of the years 1562-1563.
