AB  - The murder of François de Guise by Jean de Poltrot de Méré on February 18, 1563 inspired P. de Mondoré to write a brief poem in Latin verse, the Poltrotus, of which a version based on its first printed edition (Geneva, 1567) will be found in this appendix, a side-by-side translation and an analytical presentation.
