AB  - In 1532, or probably in 1530, Romain Morin published in Lyon Le Grand Olympe des histoires poëtiques. Morin readjusts the fifteen century French version of Ovidian fables (the Ovide moralisé en prose transmitted by La Bible des poëtes, published in 1493 by Antoine Vérard) in order to propose it on the market as a real editorial novelty. The article analyzes the elements of continuity of tradition and the innovative elements that characterize the Lyon’s edition.
