Focusing on literal reading, keeping in mind the common culture of the time and historical events, allows us to re-examine the dating and attribution of the handwritten Tours list issued from the Français 2912, i. e. a list of manuscripts that would have belonged to Jacques de Beaune, who died in 1527.
