AB  - Libraries reflect book orders based on selection and exclusion. This article aims to grasp how they crystallized the complex history of gender relations. It examines both women’s collections and the representations of women in libraries in French texts from the 14th to the 16th century in order to uncover the alternatives that women readers and authors brought to light during that crucial period.
