AB  - The new French high school programs (2019) give more importance to the medieval literature. Do the textbooks of this reform put an end to the “didactic excommunication” of medieval texts (L. Gémenne) ? Consulting these textbooks certainly shows a positive change, with more diversity, but they still lack of ambition, which is even more regrettable for the textbooks dedicated to the new specialty “Humanities, Literature and Philosophy”.
