AB  - Claude Fauchet’s Recueil is a crucial testament to the reception of medieval literature in the late sixteenth century, especially in its second part, which consists of a collection of 127 notes on various authors or works, where one can especially note the privileged place given to lyrical genres (chanson d’amour and jeu-parti) and to fabliaux. We will ponder how and why these genres, perhaps emblematic of medieval literature, are showcased.
