AB  - Calvy de la Fontaine (active from 1534 to 1561) is one of the less well-known authors of the Marot-Sagon quarrel. The paper retraces his career and reconstructs his production in order to show how his literary trajectory is symptomatic of the years 1530-1550: collective enthusiasm around the marotic renewal and singular attempts to find a place in the sun, professionalization of translators in the service of booksellers, evolution of the taste under the influence of the young Brigade.
