AB  - Buevon de Conmarchis, a partial reworking of Siège de Barbastre, significantly amplifies the song without changing the narrative framework. The gap between the two texts is marked mainly by the additions and rearrangements of reported speech. The study of the most significant examples reveals profound changes in the relationships between the protagonists: Beuve’s effacement—he is very silent in the reworking—is now replaced by the exemplary words of his sons.
