AB  - This article looks at the social risks of literature and, more specifically, those relating to the possibility of an outraged reader turning against a writer, dragging him or her into a dispute that could eventually turn into a lawsuit. Using the autobiographical anecdotes of Jean-Benoît Puech and Éric Chevillard, we examine the influence that interpersonal repercussions between author and reader can paradoxically have on literary creation.
