AB  - The article studies how Amitav Ghosh applies the new literary program he presented in his essay The Great Derangement in his 2019 novel Gun Island. His aim is to create a new form of novels based on myth, accumulation of improbable events and irony to show how normal (literary) expectations are disarrayed by climate risk and chaotic disorder.
