He developed a “theory of superior paganism” which conjectured an unknown “Beyond-God”. This does not imply that he has found a metaphysical fall grounding, through which to resolve the dissemination of the self expressed in the heteronyms. This “Other-God” and “other-soul”, in turn, simply constitute an infinite series of transcendences disappearing in a bottomless abyss.
