AB  - Since the end of the 18th century, language typology (G. von der Gabelentz, 1893) was marked by linguists renowned in the German-speaking world. Since the second half of the 20th century, this trend has continued to be confirmed, even though US typologists enjoy greater visibility because of the numerical weight of their research institutions in this field. The purpose of the article is to identify the areas of typological research in which German-speaking typologists have distinguished themselves since the end of the 20th century.
