AB  - Having remained unpublished for a long time, the play Deux Heures de la vie d’un homme qui fut quelqu’un (Two hours in the life of a man who was someone) sheds new light on the links between Marie Mennessier-Nodier and Alfred de Musset, given how much the two characters resemble them. A biographical and genetic exploration of the work shows the importance of the year 1843 in its conception, the year the two friends were reunited. The play can be read as a literary homage to Musset.
