AB  - During the last ten years of his life, Claudel kept three scrapbooks. He pasted various articles and a large number of photos cut from newspapers, notably Le Figaro, which he sometimes commented on. As a space for relaxation, these scrapbooks bring together disparate memories and facts, collecting figures crossed over the course of days and readings. Through this humble and childish gesture, Claudel also frees himself from writing and continues a long-standing shift towards images.
