AB  - In 1988 a monograph was published in the BSIAM on “Montaigne and Spanish criticism”. Thirty-five years later, this article reviews Montaigne's presence in Spain, from the editions of the Essays and the Travel Journal to doctoral theses, including academic articles and works inspired by Montaigne. After that, we try to draw conclusions regarding the presence of Montaigne in Spain in these years.
