In the patristic vein and according to the rules of spiritual exegesis imparted by Abbé Tardif de Moidrey, Leon Bloy denounces reductive readings and develops an attention to the scriptural “bipolarities” from which the figure of Abraham and the paradoxical complicity of Israel with the Holy Spirit spring.
