AB  - The Ulysses myth keeps fascinating writers even in the 21st Century. Through eight Ulyssian novels by Zable, Mendelsohn, Pahor, Bachi, Mason, Schmitt, Declercq et Gamboa, we can pick up three features: family, war, exile. Ulysses symbolises family love tested by the war and/or the exile. It’s important to remark that, when those authors describe the odyssey of Australians, Colombians or Irakians, the myth sounds and functions always in European languages.
