AB  - Paradox is a difficult linguistic ­concept to define because of its proximity to, among others, antinomy, oxymoron or ­contradiction, and of its use in several knowledge ranges and their ­contextualization. The understanding of its epistemology is ­complicated by its numerous functions. However, it is essential to language use by allowing us to express our finiteness and desire of eternity as well as the ­contrasted truths of our world.
