Abstract: This article proposes to study the relations between the shape of the logogram invented by Christian Dotremont and the natural signs that inspired it. By focusing on the genesis and the conditions of emergence of the logogram in the texts devoted to the discovery of Lapland, it intends to reveal the limits of a mimetic and anthropomorphic conception of the poem and to expose on the contrary the junction points between natural expressiveness and human language.
