    . Faut-il en finir avec l’anthropomorphisme ?
  • Author: Cazaban-Mazerolles (Marie)
  • Abstract: This paper traces the most salient debates the notion of anthropomorphism has prompted since the end of the 19th century, when applied to non-human natural beings. While scrutinizing its epistemological, ethical and aesthetical implications, it shows how diverse its forms are, and highlights the contemporary emergence of a casuistic perspective that endorses some anthropomorphic modalities as a way to develop more sustainable relationships with non-human beings.
