Abstract: Mistral’s literary work, apart from some major critical findings (A. Thibaudet, J. Boutière, Ch. and Cl. Mauron, R. Lafont, J-Y. Casanova…) and remarkable papers, has never really had « real » readers, readers without preconceived notions (linguistic and regionalist confinement) and ready to an exceptional strength be carried away in a unique literary imagination.
