Abstract: One of the arguments used to justify subscribing to Netflix is the depth of its catalogue. In it we find a wide variety of programs, with regards to genre as much as format. This article looks at the original English-language series produced by the American multinational between 2013 and 2020. It analyses two strategies developed in parallel by Netflix: segmenting the online offer and appropriating series created by other broadcasters.
