  • Abstract: Since the middle of the XIXth century, among reformers, the nationalists ad the next century and the revolutionary of January 14, 2011, the same claims of freedom and dignity are declined around the emergence of people. Can one bring them closers the ideas of the Enlightenment and Rousseau in particular? If he is recognized to be the initiator of the idea of sovereign people, on the other hand the ideas of freedom and dignity seem inspired by the same time from exogenic and endogenous models.
