Abstract: After the success of L’Illusion nationale. Deux ans d’enquête dans les villes FN (2017) and Racines de la colère. Deux ans d’enquête dans une France qui n’est pas en marche (2019), in October 2022 Les Arènes published Vincent Jarousseau’s third documentary photo-novel, Les Femmes du lien. Following an in-depth analysis of these three albums, this article examines the effects of adopting the photo-novel form for a project of a documentary nature.
