Abstract: “At the end I looked on the disorder of my mind as sacred”, we read in “Alchimie du verbe”. Following the fall of the Second Empire’s political authority and the failure of the Commune, after the rejection of traditional cohesion and coherence, the disorder of Rimbaud’s poetic spirit is consecrated. The new poetic disorder of the Saison thus sets itself up against the distinctions, forms, and structures which reigned before.
