Abstract: The most important poet of the territory of Cosenza is Michel De Marco (Ciardullo). On the centenary of his birth and the thirtieth anniversary of his death (1884-1954), the Opera Omnia, divided in Poems, Theater and Satires, was published. His poems arouse images of a living reality: how to forget the verses of Povariellu and ‘A castagna. In the theater he is considered a forerunner of the motivations and the right of women to experience love. Satires are a novelty.
