Abstract: The centenary of Pasolini's birth saw his transformation into a pop “icon”, devoid of protesting force. But he predicted it prophetically: after 1968 his works denounce the ability of neo-capitalism to extinguish revolutionary movements, not by repression, but by 'administration'. Commenting on a lyric by Trasumanar e organizzar, this essay identifies in the critique of the “technical organization” of society the culminating point of Pasolini's thought.
