Abstract: Evolution of Romanian poetry after 1945. The poetry belonging to the 1960s generation will be the one to restore the connection with modernist tradition instituted in the interwar period, bringing back the aesthetic condition of poetry. Then, the 1980s generation will propose a anti-aestheticist program, attacking the so-called "tardo-modernist purism", which in turn will influence strongly the country's contemporary poetry that proclaims itself even more "authentic" "tranzitive", and realist.
