Abstract: The goal of this work is to highlight some aspects of Saudosism linked to Sebastianism, literary movements of the early twentieth century, whose representatives give the authentic measure of the Portuguese spirit. Among the poets, Fernando Pessoa. The theme of saudade permeates in an exuberant and almost obsessive way the work of the poets of the period in question. The very essence of the Lusitanian soul corresponds to the elaboration of the poetic image of Saudade.
