Abstract: Introducing still life into literature requires a variety of operations. On the inventio side, the qualities of selection, autotely, and autonomy are aesthetically fundamental. As for the dispositio, from a literary point of view, delimitation, insertion, and composition are crucial. And, stylistically, as far as the elocutio is concerned, it is important to consider demarcation, the manner of execution, and its possible aestheticization.
