Abstract: The date February 20, 1909, associated with the launch of the “Manifeste du futurisme” on the front page of Le Figaro, has overshadowed the international media campaign orchestrated by Marinetti, which started in the Italian press. How can one explain why the writer did not debut his text in his own journal, Poesia? The journal, a real incubator, mediator, and echo chamber, had to reinvent itself to adapt to the avant-garde strategy of activities pursued beyond its scope.
