Abstract: The constant challenge of practical theology is to bring together heterogeneous phenomena: the Bible, confessions of faith and ecclesial structures, and the realities of daily life in its socio-cultural context. Practical theology plays an exploratory, interpretative and creative role, working with biblical texts not simply as vestiges of ancient times or as containers of a fixed meaning but as resources of significance that can remain inspiring today.
