  • Abstract: Libertarianism has much to say about the question of redistribution of wealth and more specifically on the universal basic income. If libertarians do not all agree on this subject, a part of them consider actually that such an income would be compatible with the respect for self-ownership and the concept of negative liberty. This position is not without putting severe contradictions with the foundations of this current of thought.
